Currently yes biometrics are required, although it is not possible to actually get them taken right now. I'm hoping they extend the exception they have given temporary resident applications to inland PR too.

Yes. PR requires a new biometrics which makes no sense since our biometrics for student/worker/visitor is still valid for 10 years T.T

yea that's true but recently I checked with cic and they did say we need to give it again

Actually they want to check whether they are still same ) , does not make sense taking again but the procedure remains the way it is.

No need for an account. If you got an email called BIL there is a personalized appointment number you can type in when you book on the website.
If Canada service wakes up from the long sleep. ‍

One of my friend's PR got approve before 2 weeks, he said he never went to Service Canada, He went to RCMP to give fingerprints.
M located in Toronto.

in 2017 they asked me to go there as a police record, but I think it was to get my official fingerprint and photo.

Should we make a protest to let them hear our voice. They should have waive at least the inland applications. We have been waiting for months

Protest, do you think it really matters to them. For them people wait in queue for months and losing time , wha lt matters.
