Some agents don't distinguish between recommended pass and passed. If it's only recommended pass, they won't start security.

Interesting, I didn't know there are distinct "Pass" and "Recommended Pass" statuses. I spoke with three agents, and all three just said that eligibility is passed on my application.

I am AOR 13 Apr and Biometrics completed on 4 Nov, when i called IRCC the agent said that my eligilibility is passed and Criminiality is In progress and Security "not started". Dont know why the security is not started yet, any one can give a brief note on this?

I'm in the same situation. AOR Feb 26 and Biometrics passed on October 15. As per a conversation with an IRCC agent, my Eligibility is passed, Criminality is in progress, and Security is "not started".

I'm thinking that it might be somehow related to my application being for the Federal Skilled Worker stream (rather than CEC). Just wondering whether your are an FSW or an CEC applicant?

Probably a glitch in the system. Click on the dependent on your application, if the bio details are blank, it implies that u are yet to provide biometrics.

It's blank over there. Only my biometrics are updated.

If a principal applicant is exempted and dependant is not, IRCC does not send the dependant details for SC call or at least not yet. I think the system does not recognize this yet and that is why you're still waiting for call

She is back home in India. VFS is still not open for biometrics. Would IRCC call me for my wife's biometrics ? She is not in Canada

As far as you have the BIL letter with you, there is no room for concern. As you know once your spouse biometrics gets updated it will update the system immediately. Don't bother even it shows completed since the officer obviously knows that it's a system error.

There are still people waiting with Jan, Feb and March AOR's/BIL's unfortunately it all seems random for who gets a call, so just need to sit tight and wait. I know it's not the best answer.

The agent confirmed my application is still in processing(Eligibility, Background, Criminality, ALL pending) at CPC-Ottawa office.
I just wondering what does this indicate about the progress of my application?

FYI, EE CEC, AOR: April 17, MEP June 9, RCMP: July 22, BIO: Oct. 19.
GCMS ordered: Nov. 3

I would order your GCSM notes for a clear update, they are taking a few weeks to be sent through at the moment but it's really the only way to get a full picture.
