My wife applied for a visa to come visit me in Canada. The application was submitted online but she did not get the biometrics letter right away. After 5 days, application was updated and she got the biometrics letter but it also asked her to bring her passport the same day she is doing the biometrics. Will the VAC take her passport? or she will have to submit the passport later? Also, does the biometric letter indicate any preliminary approval? or nothing has been checked yet until she provides the biometrics?
