Biometric Letter

Hi all,

I just applied online for a visitor visa (from US) . i do not see an letter to take bio metric appointment? how long does this take usually. Also, when do we mail in our passports. kind of confused on the process.

Have you paid the application? Normally after a day you will be asked to take your biometrics. Then you need to schedule this to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Once boimetrics is done, processing of application takes place. Based on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html it takes 14 days. If your visa is approved, that is the only time your passport will be requested.
