My AOR is 31st July and I am required to give biometrics but have not recieved the Biometric Instruction Letter in my CIC account. I read that it usually takes 24 hours to get the letter?

Did you pay Bio-metric fee while submitting PR application? If yes, you will receive that letter in some time and post that you will be given 30 days to submit. All details will be mentioned in that letter.

We have August 7th AOR and also no letter yet (spouse needs it).
It seems like the new system does not really work as described online for anyone, i dont think its a reason to worry, just keep checking at regular intervals not to miss it.
I have also paid the biometric fee two weeks ago but still has not received the biometric instruction letter to go to the collection center. That is very strange. I really don't understand why it should take so long in order to get such a letter ...
I paid on 20th August, 2018. I'm yet to receive a letter too. Is their any email address we can send a message to enquire the reason for delay in the biometric letter
I have a weird scenario though. My spouse and I paid for the biometric fee alongside other fees and it was acknowledged. But afterwards, the application stated that "We don't need biometric". Though it further said if that position change we will be contacted. My concern is that this is supposed to be sent barely 24hrs after submitting application (If it will be needed). More so, my country and profile suggest I will need biometrics.

This is a new system that was just launched. I guess since you have paid, when need be you will be instructed on how to go about the biometric ish. Just give it time. Your money is with them

My wife sponsored me and our kids. I sent all documents including Police Certificate to Missisauga. Just after receiving the application package 4 days, I received e mail for Biometric Fees Payment Request and I did.
There is application number on the request letter.
- Does it mean AOR ?
- While applying for Police Certificate, I did give fingerprints, are those different than each other?
