Democratic Institutions Minister Maryam Monsef, also from Ontario, who attracted controversy for her handling of the electoral reform file, will be moved out of the portfolio, sources told CBC News.
At least this will be positive , they won't have to add amendments for her case now...

I heard good things about the NHS too !
Don't worry, they have the choice between a French version of Trump (Marine LePen) and a French version of Bush (François Fillon) in April. The wonderful Social model that made our pride won't survive that. But anyway, you know that the frogs always complain monalisa, we are never happy
I know JT wants to be politically correct and have a diverse cabinet, but appointing a 31 years old as Minister of Democratic Institutions is stretching it a bit. Being a Minister is one of the highest positions, and requires excessive experience and insight, probably that needs more than 20 years to be attained.
that's correct , it'll be ahmed hussen.
That may be interpreted as good news .. we'll see.

Yes we need a lawyer for this position, esp. at this time... I tell you, Ahmed will be better than McCallum because this job does not require an economist!!!

Ahmed Hussen become minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship.
Hussen, Canada's first-ever MP of Somali descent, is a lawyer and community activist in the Toronto riding of York South-Weston.
