Only 3 weeks (max) left for senate sitting this year. Now I don't think c-6 will pass this year. I'm not pursuing it anymore, so so frustrated. Maybe just wait for the surprise coming next year. Well, it may not be any surprise to me anymore till the end.
Wow, I don't see how those individuals will fight back, they are responsible for the information provided in their applications even if a third party prepares it. Stating that they did not know isn't a strong defense at all. It is clear they used his services because they were aware that they did not qualify for PR or citizenship at that stage. Interesting case to follow.

The nature of what they did is really no different from the Monsef story - she just 'did not know' her mother lied about her birth place... and she got refugee status based on mis-representation, and then PR and citizenship. The only difference is she was too young to be 'intentional' in doing all those, but the excuse of 'not knowing' is the same one these people are using here..

True although I think the case of a mother lying about the birthplace of her daughter to help her is probably not as drastic as using a professional con-artist that falsifies documents for monetary compensation.

In all fairness, since when can a 31 year old be ready for a position of a Minister! JT wanted to have a colourful cabinet that paints a nice image of his Disney story; but there is a reason why people in such positions are usually in their later 40s or more; they have EXPERIENCE! I am not sure how her failure is any good for us as immigrants waiting for C-6 implementation. She is immune from the rules of C-24 and any other immigration law.
