bill c6 skipped for today
the critics of this bill almost made it delaying the bill until the end of the entire senate session. i hate to say this but Frum is indeed a b*tch!
any hopes to see that bill being passed in 2016 is very unlikely .

From what I heard recently, they spent a lot of time praising some random Joe for accomplishments..
Definitely true and 100% accurate.
Government bills , they don't have time for that .
Maybe they want to pass the Bills altogether at the end of the parliamentary year (June 2017) to show how 'amazing' they are on time for the 150th anniversary of the Confederation ?
Did they skip the other bills as well ?
Does any one know if bill is not passed by the end of 2016 will it die automatically or it would be carried in 2017 after the break in jan 2017?

It would probably be easier to just let die and start a new one that's more straightforward and less controvercial, something easier to pass

Anything could be in possible ..even in montreal for the 375th anniversary, there are "special stuffs" for that specific event.
i'm not an expert but looking at the pattern , Bill c6 has been discussed 6 times for second reading , so far nothing has changed . They have to talk about it at a certain point but don't want it to go any further. Have anyone seen that in any other bill ?

I don't believe it means anything honestly. Some Bills have been barely discussed and nobody seems to worry about whether they will become law.

Just Bloody / Shi**y Politics for unnecessary delay tactics.....
If Senate session ends, bill have to be re introduced I think
There seems to be a sitting tomorrow, Friday, from 9:00am - 1:00pm..... Hope for the best.
