has bill c-6 created a record for the number of sittings in the second reading?
by the way: here is a tweet from her regarding c-6 https://twitter.com/LindaFrum/status/792003434975223808
senator Ngo made a lengthy speech. he especially objected two items in C-6: terorist citizenship revoke, and the language requirement. omidvar and jaffer asked questions and he answered. then Frum moved the adjournment.

I believe the bill is going to be spoken on by the full 105 Senators at second reading, adjourned by each every time being discussed. Again by the 105 at 3rd reading. Furthermore, the committee would assign 105 meetings !!!! So, by 2019 the bill might be ready to serve.

so inefficient. they should realize they have been rambling the same arguments on and on every speech. it is an impasse. they should consider to vote to pass the bill if it is impossible to reach an consensus.
what action? dismiss the senate?
today in total 5 bills second reading, none is moved to the next stage. the conservative caucus in the senate has become a road block for everything.
So it is just Senator Omidvar, an independent, who is bothering? The fact Liberal Senators are showing no interest in the Bill clearly means it will end up dying at this stage. Senator Omidvar can only try so much and will be obliged to give up on it, one hand can never clap on its own.
