The Senator speaking said that Omidvar cannot amend nor vote for the bill because she is not a member of the Standing Committee .. hmmm!
 
Did it just pass the second reading? So far I gathered that she proposed to move the bill to Committee immediately.

I think a senator adjourned it till the next sitting , so basically nothing happened :(

debate at second reading will continue next sitting as i got it.

Yes it was adjourned. They really have NO interest in this bill!

I am afraid that government picked the wrong senator to sponsor this bill. very disappointing.

I already said long time ago no way they can amend the bill to save Monsef, no matter whether Omidvar is Committee member or not as Cons chair and occupy the Committee as majority.
