Since people doubted I had a high-level friend at IRCC, and told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I said the revocation proceeding amendment was unconstitutional... Well... You're hearing it here first. The Conservatives will introduce another amendment today RE: allowing minors to apply for citizenship without a Canadian citizen parent.
Now , I can assure you , i will all offer you a coffee/tea should it be different , There is NO WAY in any circumstances this bill will pass by May .
The HoC WON'T accept all those changes :
Age requirement , minors applicants , fair process .. who knows what tomorrow and we know now that they will approve all the amendments , whatever they are !
The deal was the fair process amendment . The minister nor any discussions were mentioning about any other changes . They should have amended it at committee level so we would have known already if the HoC wants them or not , once again , they BLEW it .

Senator Griffin's amendment to increase the age of language knowledge from 55 to 60 succeeded For-35 Against-27 Abstain-3. #senCA
As soon as I heard Frum stood up in favor of passing the amendment, my blood boiled. Anyone else feel the same about her ? She only stood up to delay the bill. Crook
Apparently you are right. Does your source has more info on how many amendments we might expect? And when the bill might be sent to HOC?
