A senator moved a motion to adjourn the senate until the next sitting.
Similar to the previous motion, they did a voice vote.
Speaker ruled that 'nays' prevailed (i.e., no to adjournment)
Two senators asked for a standing vote.
Whips said that the vote should happen in 1 hour.
The speaker scheduled a vote on a motion to adjourn the senate; the vote will be at 5:13pm.
Yea the sad thing is even if liberals go and ask for vote, Cons can force another vote on whether there will be any voting and they will run out of time for sitting today at 5:30pm.
So at best they can vote next sitting day. Cons can keep on filibustering!

I would add that they should ask for the vote on the whole bill as well immediately after the amendment is adopted. It is clear that giving anytime for debate on the 3rd reading will just allow more unnecessary dragging of the feet by the opposition.
