Don't be, as mentioned by Sen Harder they need to finish C4 before Easter and if they do it will be a good indication if C6 will be done by first week of May

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is it. I just wanted to let you know that I will not follow the debate on C-6 anymore until mid-May. It is becoming increasingly frustrating to watch these baby steps.
I want to stay in the spirit of this thread and keep it to facts only which is why I won't post my reasons/opinions here. For those who are interested, here is my post in the other debate-heavy thread:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/bill-c6-senate-stage-t461681.0.html;msg5926740#msg5926740
Please do not interpret my frustration as a sign that this law will or will not pass. Just like everyone else in this forum, I shouldn't dare to make that call. I've just decided that for myself it is better if I have a great spring and then, in mid-May, go to the parliament website to check if the bill passed or not.
For those who still want to follow the step-by-step process of the bill, I ask to continue to keep this thread to facts only. It worked well so far and I think it is important it is kept that way.

Just to clarify: It seems that Senators have agreed that vote on the actual bill shall be in early May. I don't have a primary source for that I only got it from other forum members but they say they heard that during debate last week.
Today they will vote on the amendment regarding minors at 6:42 pm. They will also probably still work on bill C-6 tomorrow (Wednesday) and (Thursday).
What I was trying to say is that I will not regularly follow updates anymore and instead just wait for early May. I don't see the benefit in following it day by day anymore.
