The best way to keep this thread to the facts is by not trying to do by-the-minute updates and by trying to read something into every single tweet. The best thing in fact is to wait a bit and then see what happens. This is parliament, not a hockey game.
No it doesn't mean that. Senator Jaffer is just stating the obvious. In fact since Thursday, the order paper said that votes on C-6 will continue at 5:30pm. So why on earth should we be surprised that these votes will happen at... well... 5:30 pm?
Yes and the fact that Senator Jaffer is understanding this now although this 5:30pm time has been set on Thursday and has been in printing on the order paper since Thursday evening shows how much you should pay attention to Senator Jaffer's tweets.
It is to remember that voting on amendments are not voting on bill c6 amendments, but these are the voting on the amendments of words used in the amendments. After this voting debate on the amendments will continue untill it is decided to vote on amendments
