BG in Process while test completed - Citizenship Applicants

i am also in same situation like you for my wife everything is completed but my file is stuck BG
i try to talk to my Areas Member parliament even they don’t have any right answer why it is like that
they are keep saying that you file is in non routine so there is no time frame for this type of application
only the thing is you have to wait

In similar situation here, I applied in Sep 2023, stuck with security clearance since Oct 2023. MP office said my application was non-routine and no timeline, the only thing I could do is to wait for the security assessment to clear. what have y'all done if you are in similar situation? has anyone tried the writ of mandamus?

I’ve been waiting for 14 months now, security screening still in progress. Nothing gained from atip and mp. Should I just forget& wait or go through writ of mandamus?

BG stayed in progress and was completed on Sept 19, 2023

I ordered ATIP 5 times during this time. security section was blank.
then i reached out to MPs office. they told me there is nothing they can do as the application is within the processing time.
spoke to IRCC agents three times and they told me that application is not with them and they are waiting for checks from other institutions
got frustrated and applied for ATIP from CSIS. they sent me a letter that they can not share the information under some section as per the law.
basically all the doors were shut and no one cared to share any information

If you press on the username of that member, you can check their messages' history. You'll see that by the end of the month they wrote the message you quoted, they received a message regarding the download of the citizenship certificate. So, the application was finalized quite fast after the message.

CSIS screening - All the Citizenship applications go for CSIS Integrated Bank Search to prove no Anti Money Laundering (AML) or terrorist financing was done. CSIS searches for the Name and D.O.B in your birth country using KYC (Know Your Customer Data & Identification) system and validates your details.
If the Name and D.O.B matches and there is no red indicators, CSIS will share the recommendation to IRCC. IRCC completes the Background verification based on response from CSIS on Security Screening and Criminality clearance from RCMP.
In case, if the Name and D.O.B doesn't match, then your application goes into the waiting period with no further action from CSIS.

With this assessment, I did verification of my documents like Passport, Tax Assessment (PAN, TIN), Driving License, Bank Accounts where all my personal details matches correctly.
However, recently i discovered even though all the documents has the correct details, my personal details specifically D.O.B in the KYC (Know Your Customer) system is updated incorrectly and not matching with my identify documents.
Personal data goes to KYC system through your Bank.

Strange thing here is Bank is having the correct data but KYC is having incorrect data.

To resolve this mismatch, now, I have requested to re-KYC by providing the supporting documents.

Please check your KYC too.

Note:
The search always goes with Name, D.O.B first.. Then First Name and Last Name, so on....
