Better to submit ITA outside Canada?

Hi all,

Just received the ITA (invitation to apply). In the form, I was asked to put in COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE

I am currently staying at Canada, under VISITOR VISA.

1) If I am still at Canada under visitor visa, at the time of submitting the application. Do I need to put Canada as COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE?

2)Would it be better to submit the ITA OUTSIDE CANADA?

Just one more question: I stayed in Canada for a long period, around 4 months, under the Visitor visa.

Given the long period of stay, do I still need to put my home country as COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE?
