Congrats for the PPR. Quick question for you guys.

I just checked my eCAS and my wife's Permanent Residence Application Status is In process. However, there are on two lines in the notes:

1. We received ******** application for permanent residence on May 3, 2017
2. Medical results have been received.

In the other hand, I was not able to see any status in MyCIC account.

Where do you guys think the application?

Thanks sbakhour. Yes it was a long wait and we had a very hard time but el7amdulial we forgot it all the moment we received the email. I know people who have been waiting for over 2 years and my heart and mind are with them. When we first applied, the wait time was 14 months. Then it got reduced to 13 months. Now it is 18 months.

Thanks Mike. I thought you applied in January 2015 (based on your profile). If you just received the AOR in May, then you are still in the Eligibility check stage. However, if you applied in January 2015, you are probably at the security check stage. Would you please clarify when you submitted your spousal sponsorship application?

Have you tried ordering GCMS notes? The notes will tell you exactly where you are.

Basically you will be requesting information on behalf of your wife. So, you put your own information on the first page and put your wife's information on the second page.

Hey guys,
We are 30 applicants waiting more than a year for spouse visa from Ankara mostly Iranians, but also Georgian and Azerbaijan. The normal processing time for Iranians applied before 7 Dec 0216 is 8 months but we all passed 1.5 times processing time. If you guy are organizing a petition we will join. I am thinking maybe we should make a new thread for family sponsors/applicants who passed normal processing time worldwide and include as many people as possible in the petition form. You may check the list from my signature.

No..I cancelled the application I submitted in Jan 2015. I will order the GCMS notes and see what is going on

Thank you dear for your gentle words Appreciated ! Well, I am also worried that it takes ages, because the processing time for me is 15 months.
I applied in Mid-July 2016 but through Abu Dhabi visa office as I am residing in Oman. I have been waiting almost 11 months so far ! It is really frustrating...
