I landed in Calgary office today and the immigration officer asked me to check if my details were right however I wasn't able to notice that she put 2011 on my original date of entry instead of 2009 when I first got into Canada.. Is this a big deal ?

This can be a problem when you apply for Canadian citizenship in future. If you count time in Canada from before the "date of entry" on your COPR, this will raise suspicions on the part of CIC.
It is specifically listed in internal CIC documents (obtained through Access to Information requests) as justification for sending a citizenship applicant a "Residence Questionnaire":
"C4 – NPR time (non permanent resident time) has been used in the calculation of basic residence and the original entry data used does not appear on the IMM 1000, the Confirmation of Permanent Residence or in CIC records."
Your date of entry might be missing from their records. Or they might just not see it. If they send you an RQ on this basis, you won't be able to do anything about it, even though the mistake is theirs.
