Hello all,
I recently received ITA (I got nominated by BC PNP under HA stream), and I am trying to complete the PR application. Under supporting documents, it says that I require an upfront medical. Part of me is thinking it says so because I am working in healthcare. But there is also a temporary policy which states you don't need upfront medical, if you had one in past 5 years. I have medical exam done within 5 years, when I first applied for study permit. Is there someone who recently submitted application and can help me figure out if I should get a new exam done? Pls let me know what you guys think? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Hi, I am wondering why there haven't been any official correspondence about them not accepting all types of NOC now? I wonder if someone could still apply and wait for the invitation since the website still says that you are eligible to apply...I feel so bad that I haven't researched it sooner as I work for a health authority but in an administrative role..
Applied: August 12, 2024
Provided additional documentation: August 16, 2024
Received email acknowledging receipt of additional documentation: August 23, 2024
Current status: In Process
It's been almost 8 weeks since I've applied, and I'm aware that my NOC is a priority tech one. Not sure if anyone has received an approval lately? I haven't been able to work until I receive my nomination and can apply for a work permit with my HA.

Hello! I am new to this forum. I recently received a job offer from Island Health as a full-time Registered Nurse. I want to know if anyone here also processed their BCPNP under this stream with the same NOC 31301 ?
May I know the timeline for processing? And if it required ECA?
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Hi, for anyone requested the employer declaration form and recommendation letter from phsa, can you share how long did you wait for them to provide the documents? Thanks in advance!
I work in PHSA for a full-time role.
After I passed the 3-month probation period, I reached out to HR Immigration Support if they could provide me documents for BC PNP HA Stream. HR response was affirmative, and within 3 days I got the documents. Also, EE manager will play a role as well because HR will ask manager to fill out the EE declaration form and will have to write something about why he/she hired you for the role, and justify his/her recommendation for nomination.
In summary, I asked and secured the documents early January and submitted my BC PNP HA-EE application last week of the same month.

Questions
1. what should be my NOC code. per my research it shows 21223 – Database analysts and data administrators? Please suggest if this is correct, since my job duties cover data analysis and visualization, data extraction and data modeling.
2. Is it true that health authorities are not providing documentation support to non-clinical staff anymore. A few of my friends are suggesting that health authorities are not providing such supports for EE-BCPNP health authority stream.
3. If #2 is true, then what should ask my HR to support and provide these documents since this is a TEER 1 Job.
4. Since this NOC code also falls in Tech stream, do I also need any additional documents to submit my profile under Skilled worker-tech stream instead of health care stream?
your help would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much!
My friend is working with health authority but as a casual employee with more than 30 hours per week. For BC PNP- it is required one to have Indefinite job offer (i.e. no end date) and full time work ( which is being described as on an average 30 regular hours a week, year-round). The question is even being a Casual employee, can my friend apply under BC PNP? Your guidance is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

That NOC code looks right, that's what I was advised to enter for my job offer (data analytics). As for whether HAs are not providing documentation, my HA was happy to support me. You would need to reach out to the relevant HR staff who have experience and knowledge of the application process in your HA. I'm not so sure if there are additional documents to submit for the tech stream (I only applied for the HA stream, and I believe you can only have 1 active profile at any one time).
