not sure which thread to post this, in BC-PNP or Family Class so I will post on both lol Grin
my friend applied for BC-PNP in 2014 its still in process and the employer handles every paper work for their workers, this employer(my former employer actually) just got his immigration consultant licensed recently
my friend moved in BC from Yukon in 2012,she was told by the employer that she can work right away without the work permit reason is "its still on process", she starts working in Oct she got the WP 7 months later, anyways the employer wrote on the BC-PNP application form (work history) that she started in Oct, no WP but she got pay stub and taxes were deducted as well since this month.
October 2012 - starts working in new employer
April 2013 - old permit expired from old employer
May 2013 - got the new WP
December of last year she got married, and wants to apply for Spousal Sponsorship inland, she is having problems in one of the forms that she needs to fill up regarding the work history
* write in October but got no work permit as proof
* write unemployed from October to May but she got pay stubs and taxes were paid during these months
any help is highly appreciated please and thank you Smiley
I got my approval in the mail today (02/05/2015). It came with a work permit support letter enclosed and was dated Jan 26th. I went to the border this afternoon and was issued a new work permit (Was on a visitor visa)
Thanks

Thanks for the update and congratulations! I applied the same time as you and in the late 49**. Did you change to the express entry or were you still on last years old scheme?

Hi, i tried EE but was told not eligible,so stayed at the old stream. about 5-6 month from application date on August, almost the same time as my friends'. Got an email from pnp confirming my address before receiving the letter. Thanks
Swanston,
What have you done differently to everyone else? I applied in June, and my file still hasn't even reached a case worker. What do you do for work?

I think that's just normal process. Pnp office always process international post graduate first, then it comes to international graduate. Ppl who apply with no domestic education is the last to review and it takes longer time.

I am surprised they are looking at the 4900's. I hope we hear soon then. Were you in the early 4900's?
It is a strange process as some people are just hearing back and they sent there's in June.
Did you get the letter in the mail which allows you to get your visa? Sorry for all the questions we seem to be getting so many different stories from them on what happens!
