By the way. Just got back from the border and got my work permit (It was IEC WHV) renewed for 1 more year, but only valid for my employer and position. They said I can renew it jsut going there if i dont have the PR yet when is about to expire.

Had to show the support letter, job offer or contract, passport ofc, and pay 155$. I think they could ask for qualifications and maybe proof of funds but they didnt this time at least.
Didnt have to fill any form there or online. Just what I said before.

So basically if the PR is not ready yet when the current WP is about to expire all you need to do is going to the border to renew?

Hi, I asked him if I could renew online and he said better go there again. So, I guess no forms or anything required. Thas all I know, didnt ask for details.

what i figure out
on april 22nd file number 20**
april 30th file numer 24**
10 days 500 files approximately
i applied on 27 may file number 29**
24 april-27 may
30 days approximately 600 files

so i think next month can be pretty fast. as number of applications in that time frame are less as compared to previous data

Nope, they didn't call my employer or email me!

I went to peace arch yesterday and got my new 1 year work permit. Long waits but no problems!
