Do I have bank statements for more than couple of months or is it enough to show the money or how much I have on the day I am applying

Our medical is done exactly one month back. Can any one tell us when shall I receive PPR? We applied at CHC Islamabad Pakistan? what are they doing now background check? what are their way to check background?
