I'm admitted into U of Regina into a full year program i.e 4 years Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

Their full year tuition fees is $13,560.

How much money will I have to show in my bank account? Can anyone calculate for me? Also, I'll pay first year fees well in advance. That money will be deducted from my account. After that, how much money will I show?

Just give me a rough idea about the minimum amount of money that I need to show as compulsory.

Approximately $25K 1st years tuition and $10K for years living expenses plus cost of airfare to Canada.

My dad has a back account in Pakistan but there is not much money there. If my brother transfers something like $45,000 US dollars from USA into his account, will that create problems for me? I have read that I will have to show bank statements from the last 4 months.
My classes will start from Jan 5,2011 and I will have to apply for study permit by the end of october this year.

1. Which option is best. Should I let my brother sponsor me from USA? or
2. Should I let my dad sponsor me?

If my dad is going to sponsor me then I will have to apply for May 2011 intake instead because I 'll have to preserve money in his account from last 4 months. Am I right?

But he says that he is going to pay the first yrs tuition in advance and then go to the embassy.. so how much would he have to show in his bank account after he pays the fee's?

Just curious since im in a similar situation.
