Yes you are in the waiting room and your initial review is in que. How many times do they have to check before the officer conducts initial review? The que feels as long as the Great Wall of China ! I think in October they might ask us for documents update and then after sending those over IP status might be achieved.

I applied long ago for CAIPS and as far as I can tell from the notes, i'm waiting in que for review like everyone else.CIO gave me only 67 points and am in risky situation.
A message of hope:
I am sure that there are many applicants still in MI 2 waiting in RBVO and like me ALL are in que. So when the officer(s) finds the time to work on our cases, I think IP rain will fall on the lucky ones. Inshallah, many applicants will get IP with date status soon. I think in the months of September-December. So, have faith and patience for a while longer.
Very frustrating. Haven't seen any major change with MI2 for a long long time. If i don't see any movement by October end then i guess i will go for a query to SGVO since it will by my two years from the time of application received at CIO office.
