Hi, when did u submit your passport? I guess u haven't get it back yet...right? But one of my relative made it within 13 days only!!!

We were talking about the actual sponsorship/residence application where Appendix A was to be included - not with passport.

For passport returns, it seems like 20-30 days lately....

Submitted on 19th. Hoping to get it back this week. Most members in Singapore thread have a 20-30 day timeline like bonmanush said

Passport dispatched from Singapore on 12th Alhamdulillah! Praying for positive response

Congrats, noonlitnight!

1) For supporting documents for proving relationship between spouses, besides the marriage photos, honeymoon photos, chat log, evidence of remittance etc., do you think a statement \ letter by both Sponsor and Applicant about the ongoing relationship are required?

2) For sponsor's proof of income, only last year's NOA is required, right? Option C is not required - I didn't see that anywhere in the document checklist.

Thanks.

1) Not required, never a bad idea. No such thing as too much proof.

2) That is correct. Option C used to be required, but has since been updated to NOA instead. I would include more than one year just for good measure. When I sent my
app it was still asking for Option C printout. I sent that, and the two previous NOA's.

Option C used to be required.

They changed it to NOA a few months ago.

I see. The document check list says only one years NOA. So,last years NOA and a current employment letter should be sufficent to prove sponsor's financial eligibility. Is it necessary to send more than one year's NOA?

It is not, I sent it anyways just to show that I've been steadily employed for a long time.

Thanks, IamBule.

I know I am asking some basic question here, due to the fact that things might have changed a little since I applied myself 4 years ago.

Wanted to find out the following :

1) The Applicant's photo requirement is only 2 copies right? That is what it says in the guide.

1) Even though nowhere in the guideline it says one should separate the documents, everyone divides there stuff (all the documents) into three envelopes - one for sponsor, one for applicant, one for supporting documents. Now, should the Document checklist be cut into three parts and attached onto the envelopes corresponding to the part? What is the best way?

Many many thanks.

1) Yes, it was recently changed to 2 photos.

2) I tried to use the 3 envelope system. 1. Sponsor forms and docs 2. PA forms and docs. 3. Proof of Relationship.. However, I sent so much proof I ended up with 6 envelopes lmao. I further divided the proofs into Communication x2, Photos, All of Proofs.

Received passport with CoPR :D :D :D

congrats Moonlit. pray for us too :)
