I read most of the comments of this forum. I checked my status last week and my status was showing IN PROCESS. After clicking on that, I found following:
"We received your application for permanent residence on January 19, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 17, 2012 to XXX. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 17, 2012"
So, I am thinking I am also on the same boat with you guys. Please reply me.
next few months , there will be shower of medicals , coz MI -3 is not in a priority list and once new MI-4 comes , then MI-3 will be behind us. MI 4 applicants will also take some more time for the foreign credentials assessment. so MI -1 will get medicals no doubt. :
I finally got my Passport Request last week, and so dropped the passports at CHC on the 29th! Hope to have them back soon with the maple leaf on them! for some odd reason my ECAS is still stuck at "In Process". In any case the CHC lady said I should have my passports within 8 weeks max (I was expecting it to be 3 weeks only though).
