Hello ..
I called the ircc and they said that i have passed criminality and info sharing but security not started .
then i had an ADR requesting military form and CV ..
then i got that notification on trcaker that" the Background verification status has been updated to In progress"
I then called Ircc and they said that security check has started .
I know that most people say this means comprehensive screening .. i want people experience who had this notification and got their FD quickly .. I am inland applicant
can the notification be just to confirm the security check is started .. i am really afraid .. the notification was on April 10..

It’s most likely a comprehensive screening. I got final decision 5 + months after my background verification status was updated to in progress. I know someone who got final decision about 4 months after.
The thought that it could be a comprehensive security check and the waiting time could be emotionally exhausting, but what other options would one have for something beyond our control….. but to embrace the present while we maintain optimism.

You can also confirm by requesting GCMS notes. Under security the value for comprehensive will be 1.
In case it is, you should expect a minimum of 4-5 months (and up to 1 year) of waiting period.
