Background Verification Started but not Review of Eligibility

You are the same as me. I got medical request and on the same day my eligibility was completed. Also, please keep in mind that the tracker is more accurate as it shows the exact things which happen on your application. So, if your eligibility has been completed on the tracker but it is not on GCKey then do not worry. Your eligibility has definiately passed.

For me the TRACKER SAYS:
Biometrics completed
Medical completed ( it was requested)
Eligibility completed
BG in progress since my medical was requested on September 7. BG has been in progress for over two months. I am really worried that I have been put into security screening. I do not know how long this BG is going to take.

My own my tracker stopped updating I don’t even know what is wrong. Do you have idea, it updated last three weeks ago

Yes oo. It was lasted updated 20th October, since then I haven’t gotten any update on the tracker so now I don’t even know anything on my application

It usually get updated every Friday. Now I haven’t gotten any update

Thanks for your reply. And you are right. But I have not received any decision so far. I know some students whose BG took 10 months. That is really crazy because there should be a difference between PR applicants and TRV specially Study permit Applicants. I just wonder why for study peemit applicants BG still lasts for many months.

They asked for additional document and I already provided it’s been a month since it’s Been on review still no response and I am supposed to leave by December

I wanted to also ask. I have a dependent but due to the new portal complications I didn’t submit my application together with his own but I indicated that he will be coming with me. I don’t know if that is part of the thing affecting my application or will it affect it ?

My medical was completed 14 September and since then my bg check has been in process. And eligibility has not started. It's been 2 months now after biometrics and I'm really worried

I can understand you. I know how painful it is not to hear from ircc.
It depends on some factors and the most important of them are your country of citizenship, applying via sds or non sds and how easily ircc can verfiy your documents.
