Because people who applied under sds category in November month are getting their visa within 20 days

Hmmm I hope so. My friend got bvl July 15 and got PPR august 23. A month plus me I am so nervous seriously I check my email every sec. Anyway I wish us all good luck

I was also checking email every time, but I saw it didn't help and made me anxious unnecessarily, so I quit checking and working on the skills that may be required to get going in Canada.

So they don’t need visa by the 4th? Have you asked the school about deferral? When do January classes start and last day you can start?

That's what I'm unsure of, the admissions advisor told that even if my visa arrives after Dec 4th, they will accept it

Course starts Jan 8, 2024, and last date to start I guess will be Jan 17, 2024 (I saw somewhere)

My country is not even the once handling my application. I am from Nigeria and my file is in Kenya I have tried calling no Way

Calling embassy doesn’t help. Many applications are not processing at the embassy.

You will have to decide about deferral. Honestly, IRCC needs to take down the 2 week processing times for SDS. This was the processing time prior to Covid, and given the numbers applying under SDS and the backlog not sure why that time is still posted. Many SDS applications are processing with the regular study permit times.

Please I want to ask. Is it visa officers that update trackers because I got bvl but no decision and my tracker was last updated on the 20th so I sent a message today for them to fix it and they just did but everything is still the same. My question is how comes they update tracker and not your actual application

What was the problem in the tracker??
And ya if your visa office is in Kenya then it might take time for your decision to come since you don't have visa office in your country.

No problem with my tracker just that they update it every two days but for 10 days they didn’t update it so I sent a webform and they fixed it I wanted to know if after bvl I will see any update in the tracker but I didn’t. It’s still the same as before. Why will it take time for my decision ?
