IN MY CASE, ACCORDING TO MY IO MY FILE IS UNDER BC CHECKS SINCE AUGUST, 2011 AND STILL THE BC CHECKS ARE GOING ON.......

If it is true that it takes 8 months as Mr. Pierre Sabourin says, then how come several people are getting PPR within 2-3 months after medicals and people like me are waiting indefinitely. This means there is no policy as such, some say 3 months, some 3-5 months, another few under 6 months and now 8 months
Dears, its been over 9 months that im waiting for my PPR-1. In 9 months a baby could be born lol ....
& reply to me from LVO is that Background checks are going on.... i wonder wats going on...

I joined this forum today. Please excuse me if my question sounds elementary or repetitive.
My e-cas status is as follows:
We received your application for permanent residence on February 21, 2012.
We started processing your application on May 16, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
I had sent my medical reports along with PCC, fees and passport on 28th of May. DD was banked in the first week of June when Medical Results line was added to the status. Can you guide me when can I expect my passport back.

My medicals received 8 of march and on april my status shows medical results have been received
I dont think you there is anything wrong in your case and its just the matter of time

BC were going on my file in the initial months of this year, as per the CAIPS notes. Now, I got this recent reply from NDVO. What does it mean?
