in my application to cio,i left the surname coloumn blank because i m not using the surname. all my education certificates and experience certificates r without my surname.now i came to know that they may reject my application.i should have written N/A in place of leaving blank. pls give ur expert openion.
Your ielts is valid as you have already applied to CIO on 10th of August-09. So it is Lock-In-Date of your file in the record of CIO/CHC. You need not to retake it?

My frnd wants to apply for skilled worker class but her wife who will be his dependent is not able to show her current work experiance due to some personal circumstances... if she not mention her current occupation and replace it with home maker. Will CIC come to know in background check about this??? or they will just check criminal/security & police checks because she is a dependent.Plz plz help.

unless and until if she is not a principal applicant, it doesnt matter. however, impression would be positive towards working experience rather than home maker / house wife.

Thanks guys for ur valuable comments. I know its not good to hide something but when I see his situation then I feel that its better to hide info. Sometime life turn into a point where u can't do something. Anyways thanks again.

I really need your help. I applied for my husbands immigration in 2009 and you can see my time line in my signature.
We re-submitted the police certificate in begining may 2010, and end of May my MP recieved an e-mail from the embassy that my case
will be sent for background checks... First Off its so unfair they recieved the police certificate with 5 days and the entire month was wasted coz till end of May they had not forwarded it for criminal check.
My husband has only lived in 1 country, 1 city his whole life. Never served in military. I don't know how long i have to wait. Its been 13 months already. I am really impatient now... don't know who to ask for help.
A small query...My daughters passport (india) is gonna expire and I have applied for the new passport thru Empost Abudhabi last week and will deliver with in this week. My question is will i have to notify CIO about this?? I got my 2nd AOR last week.
