Yes, i have gotten in touch with them and they keep saying they are processing my file. Well from my caips notes , the visa officer made some mistakes and that is probably the reason they have kept me waiting for long. He asked me for police certifictes for countries i only visited, i found that in the caip notes and i have written to them.
I also submitted my application with Masters Degree in process graduated in June 2010 and sent degree to visa officer.
I am planning to order Caip notes in April to see if they have done any work on my file.
Dear Qorax,
My case has been processed since end of Nov 2010, but until now I have not received any medical request from CIC ( they made calls to my company to check 2 months ago). I would like to ask you, what CIC is doing with my case and what will happen to it or what can I do now ? Thank you.

Mine is also Singaproe VO, may I know which country you are living? Singapore VO handles 10 countries, I just wonder normally how they do the background check, more by calls or site visits? Besides if convienient may I know what kind of questions they ask? Want to get prepared. Thanks a lot and good luck with your application! MR is on the way I believe since they didn't ask for further proof.
I have a question and I hope you can help me with it.
Is the interview part of the processing or before processing starts?
I was interviewed last March 16, 2011 via phonecall. 5 days after the interview, I checked my ECAS and it already read IN PROCESS (...we started processing on March 16, 2011). I'm trying to understand the status- does it mean I passed the interview and my application is now being processed?
Hi QORAX, I quote you previous post--"When the 'decision made' comes-up:
Down the line, during any stage of the b/ground check, if the VO disapproves a case file, s/he intimates same 'online'; & then the MIS cell flags-up the 'decision made' banner.
OR"
If VO disapproves a case because of the outcome of the interview, how long does it take VO to send the LETTER OF REFUSAL?

A telephonic interview is not the 'interview' we r talking about here. Most interviews worth their salt would be done face-to-face. That call to u was to clarify some [certain] element of your apps... to put u [or not] to the next stage of processing. If u r 'in process' u have been thru with that call definitely. However, a [proper] interview may yet loom large - on anything whatsoever - or u might just sail thru hunky dory! Only time would tell.

1. Upon rejection - the first thing that'd occur is that your e-cas would reflect 'DM'.
2. A letter would arrive later - probably in 1-2 months from the DM taken.
Check your average timelines from CIC website. and then drop an inquiry on meeting the given timelines.
(as CIC claims, that the timelines represents 80% of the cases)
