Does it mean that background check has been completed if you got your MR and PPR.?

What r the chances of getting call for background check after MR and PPR.?

Please understand that background checks take time and money for CHC. If later on, there is some problem with the medical results, what would be the justification of extra costs and efforts incurred by CHC in background checks. The process has to be run in logical sequence unless there is some urgent requirement of that profession in Canada.

I still maintain, that in very rare cases (unusual due to some reason) background checks would be done before MR.

It can happen. My case is under background cheking since 4th of June 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!without any medical request in London Office.I sent many enquieries but no benefit.Always the same answer: Under routine back ground cheking

Any idea about the Protector for Emigrants from Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (www.beoe.gov.pk). It is necessary to acquire this service. Please share your experiences.

i am a Pakistani student but stuck in background checks since august 2011 can any one plz tell how long more is this procedure my medicals were also done in august 2011??
and every time recived the same mail from CHc tht background checks are under way . i have asked several times for CSi but no reply from chc .
my Vo is Islamabad.
plz anyone tell me what should i do and when i expect something from CHC, and finally there is no travel history of me and if they found nothing against me in security checks as i am a clean chit citizen what will be the results???

what is the difference with security background checks and criminal background checks??? if someones criminal background check passes easily and they have nothing on their track does that mean maybe that security background checks may take less time or no????
ps... this is regarding spousal applications

9 Months completed after application filed. There is no news from NDVO. No docs request,No MR/PPR.I can not judge what will happened next.They are also not giving me 60 days time to prove my english language.What should i have to do as they had started my processing on 06 Aug 2012.Can you suggest me what to do from my side.I had sent an inquiry but there is no responsce.

1. It's observed that they r taking over 12-months now to go to the next stage.
2. If u haven't submitted ur IELTS results u stand a risk of being rejected w/out any further request from them.

I got medical request on 25th June 2012 and have done medical and sent passports to NDVO on 7th July 2012. Its almost 5 months; when can I expect them back? I am MI-1 applicant.

Please through some light on last stage MI-1 processing....

you r right manish i got a call to my employr after medicals...so it quite confusing especially new delhi vo is very vague ..u can not predict their plan of action..but once medical is done no chances of rejection except big medical ailments

finally received mr,ppr and rprf....

regarding my police clearnace they will give me dec 11 (after 10working days)

and dec 12 medicals will turn 2 weeks as per instruction

they ask me to wait 2 weeks before giving my passport in person or by courier..

is it possible to give me ryt away as they have not looked and receive my police clearnace in singapore yet...

or should i wait another more week before going embassy to have my passport stamped..

pls help

Yesterday , I recieved the request for Right of Permanent residence fees and Updated police certificates,
but I am not requested to do medicals.Is it possible?requesting to send the fees without doing medicals???
