With medicals, they asked for police clearance from all countries I stayed for more than 6 months; thats mean they start security check up after medicals.

hi qorax..i am post june applicant and medical received line has been added in my ecase..now m waitig for my PPR-1..i read somewhere on sum other forum that being unemployed can cause problems in the visa processing...i am a house wife since the time i got married..thats is..2 years..do you think that this thing can create problms in the final decision of my application..thnx..!

My caips has 'Microlocator' in this:

PAPER FILE SENT TO: MAY FILE BF'D TO: EVI ON 23-01-2012 MICROLOCATOR:

Does it mean my file is currently with 'May', and it will be sent to 'EVI' for microfilming?
or does it mean my paper file is with 'MAY" and 'EVI' will review it from filmed documents??

As per member 'jnathan', microlocator is like freezer. So am afraid if my case will get stuck.
Do i have to worry? Its already 6 months since i sent my pp to ndvo

Also I have a line entered in my caips 'RFV Check'
Now what does this mean? Heard 'RFV' might be ready for visa', but whats 'check' after that?

Also what is meant by 'file sent to ecu through registry staff?'

1. MAY has been asked to send ur file for Micro-Filming already. It's now EVI who'd review it on 23/1/2012.
2. 'jnathan' is not correct. That 'freeze loc.' which he's referring to is@'PA' [paper-storage area].
3. RFV = Ready for Visa [u r right].

Hello All

I have heard from various people, when applicants get PPR2, it means to send the passport in to CIC for stamping of Visa.

Can some one please tell me what does PPR1 means? Do the applicants have to do anything when they receive PPR1 or is it just a notice telling them there application is being processed?

NYVO has also asked me to submit updated IMM008 Schedule 3 form. What could be the reason? I don't see any other forumer being asked for this doc.
