aor2 from Ottawa third week of May. I have called to confirm that they have received my imm5669 schedule A and PCC which they have. Should my background check be started by now or should I be patient and wait longer? At what point should I become concerned?
you can browse around the Dec/Jan/Feb threads and view the spreadsheet tracker for each month....some never see their application update until they receive PPR.
if you want, you can always give your VO a call though most times they dont have any more information other than what is already available in your MyCIC or ECAS
you can also use the spreadsheet tracker for those months to get a very rough idea on how long it took for people to get their BGC for those that received updates.
though IMO, CIC is so supremely inconsistent with updates that I just stopped worrying. My ap was received in April and the PR portion started processing June 5. I dont expect an update until Dec at the latest as this would leave 4 months for PPR and COPR to still be within the 12 month processing estimate
