Background check before or after medica request?Help seniors!!!

Hi all,

My medical is done in Jan 2009 and In my case , 5 months after medical done they have checked my background so they can check either before or after medical done.

It's depend on file i think so.

Still waiting for PPR Hope i wil get it in this month.

How do you know they did background check after the medicals were sent? Was it the employement/education or criminal check or both?

i seriously fail to understand how you come to know when they contact previous employers. But, whatever...

how long does it take for backgorund check? before we receive medical request?

Hey there,

I think the background check is done before medical. After they confirm everything is alright then they send MR.
