With the backlog, all processes on one application are running in parallel instead of sequential - the same applies to applications from the same family group. So everything at IRCC is perfectly normal. No two cases are identical.
Next is the wait for things to move at IRCC's processing pace. Remember that you have ZERO influence over the speed or the outcome. What you can do is not check status everyday and lose sleep over it.

Thank you so much for your help. I agree with you that no cases are identical. I tried to find some more threads with similar situations but some are like 4 + years ago which is too outdated.
