No update yet. Fingers crossed. No one would have thought MI3 would wait this long cos of the 500/NOC cap. MI5 is about 6weeks away, although it could be around sep/oct before VO starts receiving their files from CIC, so Accra has some months to play around with

MI 3 for NDVO and AVO means two different things...
I wouldn't think it will take that long considering the recent speed at which PER were given was amazing (some in matter of days!). However I refuse to believe that AVO will leave MI 2/3 and focus on MI 5. That would certianly defeat the purpose of this whole backlog business.... It's only a matter of time.
In January, if someone had told me I would get MR in May, I would have said it's too far away...but we are in May and no MR. As we continue to wait patiently, it becomes easier to handle......Good luck everyone!

If our country/economy was favourable, who would have thought of investing in this time consuming venture?
Am so pissed with the way accra is handling mi2 and 3.
God help us all
We are all just watching and waiting. I believe news of MRs will bring life back to the thread. We are all still here brother or abi na sister? This month must not pass us again.
I think MI1&2 would not be affected provided, MI5 still operates on the 29 occupation
eventhough, cic takes about 30 to 40 days to issue PER nowadays, the new Ministerial instructions is assumed to require verification of certificates, which is a virtually new process and this will tend to reduce the rush of applications at the first 3 months of MI 5 which could be at our advantage.
Also, jason kenney seem to be putting much emphasis on skilled trades, this could cause a sort of sub division within the MI's, but this is likely to take effect on july 1 2012
In case you havent watched this interview, i hope this will be an encouragement for all of us
