From what someone in this forum told me, security check is the stage where they actually consider your international visits, the duration of the visits, your employment records, checking of job duties etc. In short, the entire paper work is checked at this stage.

Hi Ravleen.

My RCMP was submitted last week of September. At that time my BG was we are processing your background check and will let you know if we need more information. on Oct 18th BG changed to NA n we don't need any more documents. Since then no change .

question - do you guys know if I have to maintain employment to qualify for CEC? or once i met the criteria of one year of work experience i can say, go back home and stay there while waiting for decision?

yes, you can, many have applied from overseas, so called cec-outland.

11th aug AOR candidate here.. is there anyone near this date... yet to get PPR.. I am on NA2 for more than 2.5 months

August 15th here...NA2 since beginning of September too...

BG status: NA from day 1, does it means they haven’t even started IP1 yet even thou you are Aug AOR?

I dont know anything about this...

All I know is when someone wants to verify you.. they will not inform

Well to be honest no one here can judge whats going on with your file or where exactly it is...plz be aware of the processing times ( 6 mnths not 3 mnths) and donot worry if nothing happens on the portal ....portal updates are not mandatory in each and every case....do not compare with other cases where people got Ppr...again each and every case is different...do read this thread of august Aor from frst page if you are intrested to know how things happen....meanwhile you have to wait even if 13 weeks are passed...

I am fsw -o with aor 5 th aug stuck at na 2 for over 2.5 months until wednesday my adr said documnts uploaded late wednesday evening the adr status chngd to we require more doumnts and we will send you a message... and we are still waiting for that message bt unfortunatlly no update on the same.. we tried calling them on friday but cldn reach an agent ... what do u advice us here... plz help
