After the june changes....it's not mandatory.

Emailed CPC yesterday to find out my VO, and they replied today that it's with CPC in Ottawa.

Did you pay RPRF upfront?
I also got my medical cleared on 5th September with the AOR date of 20th august and I paid RPRF ON 14th september

Yes, I paid everything upfront. Did you receive any update?

I am reading the "golden email" more carefully and I have realized it doesn't say where I need to send my passport.

PPR email just came now! All I can say is wow! 3 weeks from AOR to PPR is beyond our wildest dreams. Honestly thought that something would come up with our application and it would take a long time but it feels so good to finally have the golden email!

Wouldn't have been able to do it without all of the help from this awesome forum. Thanks to each and every person on here who has replied to my messages and fingers crossed that everyone still waiting gets their PPR equally quickly!

Hi All,

I have a question if someone could please share there experience it will be great!
I recently passed my medicals and I am still waiting for BG IP2 and PPR. However, I am planning to move from my current address (same country but other state) in a month or so. Could you please guide me how can I send the updated address to CIC? Also if I get my PPR before I move, can I still change the address? and then send my Passport for COPR?

My BGC and additional documents sections hasn't changed since I entered IP2:

BGC: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Additional doc: he additional documents you provided are being reviewed.


Any thoughts on the golden email not indicating where I am supposed to send my passport? (address).

It very depressing to see that many people having Aug AOR are stuck on NA2. Why are some files not yet out of the central office? I am 11 Aug AOR and stuck on NA2 since Aug 29-30 not sure.... Apparently many people are in the same situation.. Can someone please comment as to how many days would it take approx to move from NA2-IP2 ....

Hey guys....I got the PPR email today. I have been a regular visitor of this forum since the turn of the year. Wish best of luck to everyone waiting for PPR.
Timeline:
Applicants: 2 ( My wife is primary applicant).
FSW Outland.
Indian Citizens. Residing in USA.
CRS: 474.
ITA: 31st May
AOR: 29th August
Medical Cleared: 1st week of September.
IP1: Right after medical.
NA2: Second week of September.
IP2: 20-21 September.
PPR: Today, 22nd September.

An officer will contact you if further information is required.

I've been in IP2 for the better part of the week.
Is this normal?
Please suggest.

Documents says No additional documents are required.
BGC says We are processing your background check.

AOR 28 August
MEP 13 September
IP1 13 September
NA2 14 September
IP2 19 September

Hey everyone need your help...I just had a word with the CIC official and they told me that I got my medical cleared on 5th September (my AOR is 20th of Sept and RPRF asked on 12th Sept and paid on 14th Sept) and I am done with the criminality check but security check is still pending.
Can anyone tell me what stage am I in and what exactly is the difference between criminality check and security check?

Anyone has any idea on this?
