Additional Travel details were requested on 31st Aug, which I submitted on Sept 1st. This is the current status. Can anyone please guide if I am at IP1 or IP2 stage. How long do you think it will take from here on, given the faster processing times.


Application status : We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results : You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents : The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Interview : You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Looks like you might be in IP2, but remember that these statuses are just general guides. You can't rely on them 100% to figure out how far along your file is. IP2 is the stage before PPR, but that's assuming your file isn't selected for additional security screening. The only way to know for sure what's happening with your file is to order GCMS notes...

Can someone confirm whether this is IP2 now? This is going so quickly if so!

Okay..here goes my weird story.
Submitted e-APR on 14th Aug. I am from India but my VO was Ottawa. Didn't receive any update from CIC or CPCO since then.
No update on my profile status. Not at all. I mean the profile status was blank.

Out of blue, I received my PPR mail today. Asking me to go to VFS and get my PP and photos parceled to New Delhi VO.
Weird..isn't it?

Weird?! If this is weird than I hope and pray that such "weird" things happen to all of us
