Guys I have few questions. I wanna travel outside of Canada. Long story short i need to visit my university in China to collect my degree in person this process at least gonna take 30-45 days. As far as i know i need to physically present in Canada for P1 or P2 right?
Is it even good idea to receive P1 or P2 while I'm outside? or what can be the best strategy for this. Problem is i can only go there in February or March otherwise i will need to wait one more year. I was hoping to get everything in January but now I dont know when i will get FD or Portals.
More Info: I am dependent and primary application is my wife who will stay in Canada

Raise a webform about your travel plans with the IRCC. You may still receive P1 while outside Canada. There, you could also mention that you're outside Canada now and when you're planning to return. They'll hold your P2 until you come back.

Anyone who is an outland FSW applicant? I am about to hit the 5-month mark on my application and there are still no updates... My PVO is Sydney, NS. I wondering if this delay has to do something with the visa office? Or simply the fact that they are massively prioritizing CEC applicants. Anyone in the same boat?

Your address will show as accepted the moment you get your eCoPR. Not before that. As for photo. it'll show in review even after your receive your PR cards!
