No update ever since I got that Recommended Passed. My guess is that the visa officer assigned to my case has already gone on leave haha. If that's the case, hopefully he has a nice break so that once he's back to work, he's in a good mood and approve my application haha.
Man it feels like they have been in holiday mode since early November! :P

He got p1 and p2 but his work permit will expire next month and he waiting for ecopr so still he has to apply for bowp ??

With applied pr you cannot work, only in case of work permit or applied work permit, you can work, so anyhow he has to apply for bowp if he doesn't get ecopr before wp expiry

Yes tell him to apply at least 3-4 days before his WP ends, otherwise he will be out of status in case his eCoPR is still not issued!

If he's the primary applicant, then everything depends on his current WP expiry. So once he applies for BOWP (before his current WP expires), he has to include his spouse for a SOWP in the same application as well. Until and unless IRCC officially announces the "changes", tell them not to panic!
