Hey Guys, I got 3 Ghost updates on Saturday. Only test is showing completed. I gave my test on 24 oct and I summitted my fingerprint on 19 Oct but still background still in progress. Anyone got same experience please let me know what to expect?

That happened to me as well - 3 ghost updates , exam changed to completed and then 3 days later I got an email requesting fingerprints. Which I did on Saturday, now it’s a waiting game

I submitted my fingerprint on Oct 21, and the background is still in progress.

LPP wouldn’t start until background is done correct ? Despite the exam being completed?

I would definitely call them !! It has been over 3 weeks now since you’ve submitted your fingerprints. From what I know digital FP is instant and it takes 3 business days for RCMP to issue police certificate assuming no records were found and then they mail to IRCC office by regular mail. Which could take a week or 2 max.

If you find the number to call - and if you get through, can you post the here? I submitted my fingerprints on Oct 5th and still no word of receipt

I just tried calling IRCC but failed to go though . Is there any specific time or pattern to call IRCC? @AusJembecomesCA @Help2

oh thats a good news , I got same weird behaviour last Oct 27

It was reflected last oct 31
the changes reflected
1. we have received your finger prints
2. Background check completed

It took my test around 8 days to validate, the norm for the Van office seems to be somewhere between one and two weeks currently to validate tests

It's been almost a month since I took the test and my tracker is still not updated yet.. should I contact IRCC?

I am in the same situation. Gave the test on oct 10th, still not updated. Did you receive an invite from the West office?

Yes, I got the invite from West office. Did you get any ghost update? I got one on Oct 27 but nothing since.

Yes I received a ghost update on 27th too but no updates for the test yet.
