Just curious….how does IRCC determine who attends in-person vs virtual ceremonies? Is it by indicating e-certificate or paper certificate?

I am in the same boat, same day as yours. I called them this afternoon. All they said was "wait". He gave a very generic response that they are issuing AOR for apps from 13 August and before.

It’s purely up to them. Most ceremonies are still being done virtually. Your choice of certificate would not impact the type of ceremony you will be invited to. You can opt for paper certificate at virtual ceremony and vice versa.

Yeah, going by trends from the past 4-5 months, apparently there are a bunch of folks in every month whose applications are getting completed between 79 to 95 days. I hope you are one of those from the August batch
I have a friend who has AOR Sept 7 and even for him, both BG and Test were updated same day- Sept 20.

I am AOR Sept 15, no update yet.
