I see good news coming in for you all, things are moving along (updates)
I'm getting my photos done today and will submit my app by Thursday I think.
Seeing feedback on online applications, I'm wondering if I should just send in a paper one. It does look like they are also getting to online ones too though.
With their plans to add families and minors to online applications I'm hoping they would put more people to process the previous ones too.
still uncertain with which way to go but I will get all my things together at least.
Thank you so much!! I am super happy we are finally here, after all the stress and wait IRCC put us through when this is all done, we will drink some beer and get that wonderful passport that lights up under Black or UV light and just be happy to know our hard work paid off in the end.
Canadian passport under UV light lol something to be happy about so beautiful
I did not know about this "Citizenship Application Tracker". I thought we would use ECAS. It's stated in the landing page of the Citizenship Application Tracker:
"This tracker replaces the Client Application Status (CAS) tool. If you've been using CAS, you need to create a tracker account to continue checking the status of your citizenship application."
So that explains why I logged in ECAS and it still shows "Application Received", but in this tracker I see status In progress.

Yes I see the same in Ecas Many folks say this ecas status will also change to in progress in about a month, and the status shown in the new tracker is always one step ahead of ecas.
The next change we can expect is background verification complete, which should take place in 1-3 months from now
