The fact that IRCC has extended the processing time from 12 to 27 months speaks volume in regards to backlog applications from previous years. I hope and pray that we all become Canadian Citizens by the end of this year….otherwise they’ll be face with another backlog phase which is : PR card renewal this time around

you have to keep in mind that the people sharing their infos online and here are really an insignificant representation of the total amount.
so you can t know if paper based or online based are treated differently
because at the end, once the documents are recieved ( it's the same system processing them!) it all goes on the computers. so there is no difference according me in treating : the difference is only that online is single applier and paper can be couple sand families.
according to me : there is not enough workers and also the process isn't clear for us appliers .
it was amazing the judge was smiling and ircc officers were clapping then we sang the anthem O Trump True patriot love in all of us command. The True North with lots of backlog !
