Activity has been low today on the citizenship threads. Not sure why. It happens sometimes, the activity drops and picks up again in a couple of days. Unfortunately, the backlog for oath is only growing. Isn't getting better :-(

we are laughing now ... but just in case it happens, you will be exempted from the test then.
Now you have something positive to look forward for that day
Do we have to get stamps translated even if it falls outside the elibility period? I want to be ready just incase i receive the instructions to provide passport pages.

Yes. Anything on the passport that is not in English or French, get it translated. If there's a stamp and it is in English/French AND a foreign language, then you probably don't have to get those translated.

Guess i have to get cracking in finding a translator in Montreal. The last time i wanted a passport page certified a true copy, i was quoted $160. I can just imagine what the translation is going to cost

Just noticed on the new status tracker that my FP results were received, and my background verification status is "completed". Some progress, for what it's worth.
Language, physical presence and prohibitions are still "in progress". Generally, do any of these 3 need to change to "complete" before the test invite is sent out?
I got done with my test on July 4 and still waiting for others 3 checks to get marked as complete... It's already been 2 weeks but I guess it's due to Windsor office which is working GOD DAMN SLOW
mine were also just updated to completed with FP received, FP done on 18th June, shows received on 14th July,
Updated to completed background check on 17th morning, but indicated that it was done on 15th itself.
About 4 weeks time since FP processed.

This is how they are working i guess:
May to Jul: They sent test invites for most of windsor 2020 applicants.
Aug/Sep to Oct/Nov: They will do DM and/or send oath invites
They do like bulk invites, like a seasonal work - one stage every few months for the previous year applicants.
