Does anyone have a friend who works there to enlighten us why the deliberate delay with the process ?

Hi Everybody,
I just want to ask if somebody is in the same situation that I am. My partner and I applied together on paper (Aug 2020) to the citizenship but just one of us gor the AOR by email and nothing after that. For the other one we haven't heard anything not even the AOR. We are worried because that missing AOR, we don't know if they will return that application on were we can find out more information.
Any ideas or suggestion besides keep waiting?

We were in a similar situation. Don't worry. Call IRCC on 888-242-2100 and speak to an agent about your Citizenship application. The spouse that did not get the AOR should call and ask for their application number.
Once you have the application number, create an account on https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/ and track your application.

Does anyone know if a review of eligibility is performed before a test invite is issued? Both myself and my wife recieved AOR of Aug 26, 2020 and completed our test on Apr 16th 2021 which was marked completed on the 19th. My wife received the test invite email first and I got mine 40mins after my wife. It seemed like someone was looking at the files and issued one after the other with a 40 min gap. Made me curious if officer reviews the file including initial eligibility before issuing the test invite.

We have hear anything since our test and are waiting for interview or document request now.

I have an exactly similar situation; my husband received an AOR via email and I haven't received anything. I called IRCC and they gave me my application number even though they didn't send me any AOR. Just call them. Good luck

I moved 5 times during my eligibility period so I have 5 different address & 4 employers on my citizenship application. Does anybody know if that's is causing delay in background verifications -criminality to be specific?

You should receive the email after 2-3 days, my online tracker was updated on May 25 and I received the email on May 28.

Yes. At least in my case and a couple of others I know. Basically there are a lot of factors causing delays right now - Covid, Lockdowns, Local Office Backlog, other case by case reasons like delay in background checks depending on where you are from, Travel etc.

Updated! Thanks. Please keep me posted of other status updates as well (like the date you take the test, interview invite date, interview date, oath invite and oath date). Also, please update when you see status changes in the new dashboard.
