Can this be even done or just an expression of frustration? I mean, sue them on what ground? IRCC has vague rules that give them so much power to do whatever they want without being held accountable.

More like an expression of frustration, I guess! In any case, lawyers can make suitable cases out of anything these days. lol

i'm still waiting too. Everything showing as in progress with no sign of a test invite. Bit frustrating when you see everyone else in this group (as well as those in September, October, November AND December getting test invites).

Some VO's way slower than others I guess.

Anyone seen any movement on the West Coast? It really looks like noone from Vancouver is really getting a test invite.

Nothing from Vancouver as well. I was doing some in-depth analysis for this office and it seems that they are going rather progressively through the backlog. As an example, for the last 2 months the Test Invites they sent were for Applications from Nov 2019 to Feb 2020 (App Sent date) in an increasing order, meaning the last month they mainly sent invites for Jan/Feb 2020. Assuming they keep the current pace, I am looking for a Test Invite as a X'mas present. Again - these are all projections based on the spreadsheet data and specifically for the Vancouver office.

Also added some additional stats which I prepared for my own reference. Had to remove data outliers judiciously.

VANCOUVER (current stats vs old):

• IP to Test Invite = 11 months / 3 months (pre-pandemic)
• Test to DM = 40 - 50 days (2021) / 3 days (2019-20)
• DM to Oath Invite = 35 - 50 days (2021) / 28 days (2020)
• Oath Invite to Oath = 12 - 20 days (2021) / 25 days (2020)
• Test to Oath Invite = 2.5 months (2021) / 25 days (2020)

Please take the above data with a pinch of salt. CIC is well known for not doing things as per "expected".

1. You've already got DM because everything except Oath says "Completed". Check ECAS

2. You'll see it when IRCC update the status dashboard with the oath notification. This might take a while. To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take a couple of months from now to see the oath notification. However, it could happen much sooner than that.

3. Currently, oath dates are being scheduled in October and November for 2020 applicants. So, you'll have plenty of time from the date you are first notified about oath (on the status dashboard) to the actual oath date. You'll receive an oath email about 1 or 2 weeks before the oath ceremony.
